Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Talous, an advertising-operations platform operated by Edge Point (“Talous”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Talous on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it.

The service

Talous helps advertisers and agencies monitor, optimise, and manage advertising campaigns across connected advertising platforms. Features include performance monitoring, recommendations, and campaign actions that you or your team approve.

Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. When you connect an advertising account, you represent that you have the authority to manage it and to grant Talous access on its behalf.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Talous for any unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purpose.
• Comply with the policies and terms of every advertising platform you connect.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Do not upload content or run campaigns you do not have the rights to.

Third-party platforms

Talous integrates with third-party advertising platforms (such as Meta). Your use of those platforms through Talous is also subject to their terms and policies. We act on your instructions and approvals; you remain responsible for the campaigns and budgets you authorise.

Your data and privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the data you and your customers provide. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see our Data Deletion instructions.

Service availability and changes

We work to keep Talous available and may update, add, or remove features over time. We may suspend or limit the service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular advertising outcome, result, or return — campaign performance depends on factors outside our control, including the advertising platforms themselves.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talous and Edge Point are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or advertising spend arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Talous and disconnect your advertising accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and liability limits) will remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
